12 brand new works of Lonely Journey that will be showcased in the solo show of the young Chinese artist Cheng Cheng Yi. This time, however, the constant dualism of this painter's colourful canvases is combined in a succession of diptychs inspired by European culture, focusing on a reinterpretation of the classics of art and literature that influenced the artist's art and youth. Cheng Cheng Yi's new series is the outcome of a creative globalisation that makes us closer despite distance and on which friendship is based, embodied by the cultural and poetic journey undertaken by Yi.

On the occasion of the ART TAIPEI 2022 edition, Dorothy Circus Gallery is proud to present 'A Walk On The Silk Road', a group presentation featuring: Kazuki Takamatsu, Millo, Clementine de Chabaneix, Clementine Bal, Sergio Mora, Chishi Morimura, Cheng Cheng Yi, Fatima Ronquillo, Jana Brike, Luke Chueh, Tokuhiro Kawai, Paolo Pedroni and BLIC.
'A Walk On The Silk Road' was born with the intent to retrace the path dating back to the Roman Empire as the peak for cultural exchange. This exhibition is as well a statement representing the friendship that Dorothy Circus Gallery celebrates every year with continuous collaborations with Artists and galleries from Asia.

We are proud to present that Dorothy Circus Gallery will be presenting a series of Artworks at the 2022 Mango Art Festival in collaboration with Joyman Gallery.

The Mango Art Festival is Asia's first and only art festival that combines art, design, and performance. The Festival's goal is to develop Thailand's creative economy and demonstrate to the rest of the world what the country can do. As a result, Thailand will become one of the most popular art and design tourism destinations. From 2022 through 2025, the Mango Art Festival will be held at River City. RiverCity is widely regarded as Thailand's art center and is conveniently located.
