Dorothy Circus Gallery has always collected fascinating products, which emphasize the Gallery’s unique style. At the heart of Dorothy Circus’s concept, there is a profound admiration for sophisticated craftsmanship and a sense of nostalgia for the passing of time. Today, the Gallery’s logotype, developed from the original calligraphy of a 19th-century French diary belonged to the Gallery owner’s family, is a visual statement that represents both a modern lifestyle and a fragile and ethereal past. Its original calligraphy has been studied and adapted to identify the overall brand, becoming the very essence of all the Factory products. The meticulous study of every page of this antique diary has been a key element in the development process of Dorothy Circus Factory’s design, a highly refined and elegant style, between a romantic and classical era and the complexity of the contemporary modern world.
The Dorothy Circus team carefully select special collectibles to celebrate the Gallery’s vision and dedication to Art. Among them, the bible of Pop Surrealism, Pop Surrealism what a WonderFool World; the Cd Catalogues Inside Nostalghia, Furore and Venenum et Medicamentum, created specifically for the gallery exhibitions as original soundtracks by the Italian composer Giorgio Baldi; the elaborate Trilogy: Once Upon a Time, Walk on the Wild Side, The Doors of Perception, three Catalogues featuring all DCG annual exhibitions, and Poison Toffee Apples, Paolo Pedroni’s box of rare cards, with the first steps of the Dorothy Circus Factory’s journey.
In 2017, on the occasion of the Dorothy Circus Gallery’s 10th anniversary, DCG Factory has created, with the collaboration of the Venetian master perfumer Lorenzo Dante Ferro, its exclusive fragrance, Palpitation, a limited edition of 500 magical perfumes, inspired by Ray Caesar’s artwork and its romantic vibes. Dorothy Circus Factory has also produced the limited edition Palpitation Candle, and a precious selection of flavoured Teas, Sacré Bleu and Palpitation Rose, aroused by the most exciting Pop Surrealist artworks and by the gallery’s own innovative style.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Dorothy Circus Factory has also released the catalogue Pages from Mind Travellers’ Diaries, a volume dedicated to artworks exhibited at Dorothy Circus Gallery in Rome and London and selected on the theme of the journey.
