Ray Caesar, the teacher and the leader of digital art, and the very young and seductive Lithuanian artist Natalie Shau, are going to open the red hot Roman Summer marked by a surreal atmosphere. The theme of the event will be “The miracle”. From an extraordinary event such as snow during summer up to some possible small miracles, like the one which already exists in the ability to believe, the miracle represents the surreal more than anything else. This theme is inspired by the religious legend of the Madonna of Snow: an Italian mystic theme for two foreign artists of Nordic roots, who are going to offer with their works a magic and dreamlike connection between fairy tales and queens of the ice.
With the two international stars of digital art, who will exhibit in the red velvet space, the gallery will host the Italian artist Paolo Guido making his debut. In the white velvet space will be showed his digital illustration and a painting realized both through digital and oil on canvas. Thanks to his capacity to work with digital and classical painting technique he is one of the most promising Italian artists nowadays.
In the show there will be also the possibility to admire his artwork made for the Italian magazine L’Espresso, in occasion of the 150 years anniversary of the unification of Italy.
The pianist and composer Alessandra Celletti will accompany with her piano the viewer through the exhibition, which consists of 12 of the artists’ most evocative works, dipped in the evocative setting of Dorothy Circus Gallery in Via dei Pettinari. The artist is also going to present a preview of her latest project “The Alchemical box”.
