The renowned American artist Travis Louie will curate and participate in The Miniature Show, a group exhibition of original miniature paintings by several international artists, including Amy Sol, David Welker, Lola, Keith Weesner, Eric Joyner, Camilla D’Errico, Luke Chueh, Brandi Milne, Tristan Elwell and many more. Travis Louie was born in Queens, New York, in the area near the site of the 1964 World’s Fair. His dusty, vintage imaginary and dramatic mood derives from the use of black and white acrylic colours over tight graphite drawings on smooth grounds; these materials give shape to dreamy scenarios made of magic, dusty attics and dark fairytales to be read in the silence of a dimly lit room.
