"The triptych, Polaris, is inspired by the north star of the constellation Ursa Minor. He uses the illuminated Strawberry as a symbol of the spirit, vital impulse and intuition. It guides us and points us to our north, hence the name Polaris for this triptych. The three paintings represent the circular movement of the constellation around Polaris, us and our intuition".
