This piece is my nymph, my tree spirit, my fae. She and the bee are mated souls, bonded together. She exists for the bee and the bee exists for her. It’s an innocent, natural emotion. I illustrated her naked because it’s her natural state. She and the bee have a friendship where either could destroy the other, but they don’t, because they coexist symbiotically. This is how I imagine the balance of nature to be, in its most beautiful form.
