"One of the Korean traditional art called 'Minhwa' is artwork of ‘commoners’ only. , unlike other korean traditional art that was done for emperors, politicians, or religion(buddhism) . 'Minhwa' was divided into different types, but the most common subjects were animals and natures that were involving magical dimensions ,believed to protect owners and their families and to represent happiness, wealth, health, and scenes of everyday life , that are the main 'ingredients' in my works".
